Social Events – including annual Summer party, Halloween party, Christmas party, Valentine party, exhibitions for Southwestern Regionals, Midwestern Sectionals, US Nationals, and Adult Nationals competitions.

Test Sessions – discounted test sessions are offered throughout the year. The number of test sessions offered throughout the year allows skaters the opportunity to test when ready so goals can be achieved at their pace.

Skater Development – Seminars are held at various times, typically in conjunction with competitions.

Critiques of Skaters Programs – National and International Competition Judges and Technical Specialists are brought in to evaluate skater’s programs. These critiques include a private discussion among the skater, judge and coach. Offered a minimum of two times per year.

Competitions – Our club hosts ShowSkate in March, and Cannon Texas Open in July providing skaters the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

Financial Stipends – Financial Assistance to eligible skaters who compete at Southwest Regionals, Midwestern Sectionals, US Nationals, National Showcase, National Solo Dance, Adult Nationals and State Games of America competitions.

Membership Discount – earn up to $100.00 in credits in exchange for volunteer hours and/or donating food or drinks.

Club Jacket – Lone Star FSC of Texas club jacket with its unique Club logo are available at cost to our skaters.

Skaters of the Year – An award is presented at the Annual Meeting for skaters in four categories: USFS Qualifying, Non-qualifying, Learn to Skate, and Adult skaters.

Special Awards – Intermediate Lady-Dr. McKeever Award, Senior Dance-Greg Cannon Award awarded at Cannon Texas Open.

Complimentary USFS test patches for tests passed with Lone Star FSC

Gold Test Medal Award – A gold medal will be awarded to all current full members who complete 70% of their Moves or Pattern Dance Test with Lone Star Figure Skating Club of Texas, must be a current member.
